Advises UK employers on how to develop a sickness-absence policy which does not inadvertently break equalities legislation relating to disability. Reviews the case law relating to cases in which an employer’s sickness policy has given rise to a claim of disability discrimination, discussing the circumstances that gave rise to the claim and the judgements made in each case.
