A special edition of Transport is being planned for early next year dedicated to Noise and Vibration issues.

Disturbances from noise and vibration are becoming an increasingly important consideration for transport planning, design and operation. Noise from transport affects large numbers of people and is, by far, the most pervasive of all the environmental disbenefits associated with transport.
