A Congress in the IAC Namur tradition
The International Association for Cybernetics (IAC) (Namur) was, as most readers will know, wound up in November 2000. This has left a gap in the tradition of going to Namur for what has always been a stimulating and also a major gathering of the cybernetics and systems community.
The World Association of Cybernetics, Informatics and System Theory (TAKIS)has now, however, circulated former members of IAC to announce an international Conference on Cybernetics to be held at the Konstantia Filozofa University, in Nitra, Slovakia in September 2002.
The present of TAXIS, Dr Eva Polakova has promised that the conference will continue in the IAC tradition
