Area	Questions
Introduction	If you reminisce on this past year, do you see anything that has changed directly for you in your work?
	What was challenging in the beginning? What challenges are there now? Have these challenges changed?
	Is there any particular moment in relation to, for instance, data collection, data analysis, or communication that you feel has become more difficult? Would you say that there is any difference?
Collection (of data)	How does it work when you collect data?
	How does it work when it comes to talking to people? Consider all of the talk that usually goes on around figure – how is it now?
	Is networking an important part of your work when collecting data?
	Do you have to remind people to provide material that you need?
	Do you feel that data collection takes longer?
Analysis	Which figure would you say is the most important for you? Is there a figure in which you take a particular interest?
	Have there been any changes in your focus? Is there some figure that has become more important – one that you talk about or report more?
	Are there any differences in how the figures are interpreted or how you talk about them?
	It is often valuable for a controller to know what is going on in the organization – the kinds of questions that are circulating and the potential problems that could arise. How do you feel that this functions now?
	How do you work now when it comes to initiating new projects? Is any development work occurring?
Communication	Who do you report to? Do you report to the CFO, directly to the management team(s), or somewhere else?
	What is usually the approach when you provide reports? Do you make presentations? Do you send reports, files, or compilations of material?
	Do you think differently now when you are planning a presentation than you did before the pandemic?
	How do meetings work? Does everything take place online or do you have meetings on site as well?
	Is the kind of talk on Teams/Skype/Zoom the same as when you meet people in person? Do you feel that there is a difference?
	Do you receive other questions now? Are people just recipients of the information? Is there any dialogue?
	Do you miss opportunities for staff to have coffee together or the possibility to just talk to people? Do you miss chats that may occur when people are gathered in the same place?
