Dependent variable is a dummy indicating whether a firm has bid in any lot in an ITT conditional on registering for the given ITT. Firm characteristics include turnover, turnover/engineer estimate and employee count. Regressions include constant. Backlog and engineer estimate are in million euro. Backlog is calculated taking the sum of the values (engineer estimates) of tenders awarded to the firm during one year prior to the observed ITT. Standard errors are clustered at the industry level. Observations are firm – ITT pairs. Standard errors in parentheses. *, **, ***
