Decision variable	Description
$y_{i j}^{p q}$	Whether a train flow from node $p$ to node $q$ traverses link $(i, j)$ within the hub; if yes, $y_{i j}^{p q}$ = 1, otherwise $y_{i j}^{p q}$ = 0
$z_{s}^{p q}$	Whether the train flow from node $p$ to node $q$ performs operations at station $s$ ⁠; if yes, $z_{s}^{p q}$ = 1, otherwise $z_{s}^{p q}$ = 0
