Note(s): To test the endogeneity of household income, stared variables are used as excluded instruments in the first regression of a two-step procedure estimation. These variables are assumed to be correlated with the endogenous regressor (i.e. household income) and uncorrelated with individual subjective well-being reported by individual i.
