Appendixes 1 and 2: In order to derive a good representation of the top 3 journals and cited-authors we have used weighted and fractionalized measurements. For the journals we have combined both the absolute and relative importance of a given journal for each topic. In relation to citations we have fractionalized each contribution to take into consideration the number of authors. This was done in order to avoid a bias toward journals with the most number and highest frequency of publications and authors with multiple co-authors
