The number of deaths and case fatality rate includes those who died from COVID-19 and those who were infected with COVID-19 but died from other causes. Therefore, the number of deaths of COVID-19 shown here does not necessarily match the number of deaths of COVID-19 in vital statistics. Case fatality rate was calculated by (number of deaths during the wave period)/ (number of confirmed cases during the wave period).
