| Module Two | Understanding mental health Prevalence and impact of common mental health conditions (anxiety disorders, depression, low mood, suicidal ideation, personality disorder and borderline personality disorder) in clients with multiple, complex needs or wider circumstances (physical health, family/relationships, employment). Mental health interventions from a range of modalities including, but not limited to, TA, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) | 30 credits |
| Module Three | Physical health and long-term condition management Physical health conditions and long-term condition management and impact on wider circumstances (mental health, employment and family/relationships) and how these circumstances interact. | Module Four | Whole family approach Awareness and understanding of impact of family/relationships on physical and mental health, employment and wider circumstances. Evidence-based interventions for adopting a whole family approach to assessing need, exploring and identifying aspirations and developing an appropriate sequence of interventions to address issues that parents and families face | 30 credits |
