This table presents the proportion of households that take part of our sample by region, as well as an expectation of the proportion of individuals in each region that can be potential winners of the lottery. In other words, of those individuals that were interviewed in a given year that the region became awarded with the first prize of the lottery, and they also bought lottery tickets. In general, we observe that larger regions (or more populated ones) take an important representation in the sample, like Andalucía, Cataluña or Madrid. When looking at the proportion of winners in each region, we observe that there are some regions that have zero chances of having winners, as these have not won the lottery in the years included in the survey
