The figure comprises two sunburst charts that depict the presence and integration of various actor types within the ecosystem. Each chart includes concentric circles representing general actor categories and their subtypes, differentiated by colour: tourism actors (blue), with twelve subtypes; I C T actors (orange), with two subtypes; and institutional and socio-economic non-tourism actors (grey), with five subtypes. The first chart illustrates the quantity of actors, showing tourism actors as the most prevalent, occupying roughly three-quarters of the chart, with accommodations being the most represented subtype, followed by tourism-related public bodies, natural and cultural resources, travel agencies and other reservation services, sports and recreation service companies, D M Os, and transport services, while other tourism subtypes are less numerous. Institutional and socio-economic actors are slightly more numerous than I C T actors. The second chart reflects the level of integration, where tourism actors occupy a smaller portion–about one-third–with tourism-related public bodies, natural and cultural resources, transport services, accommodations, and D M Os being the most integrated in this group. I C T actors now have a significantly larger share, approximately one-third, with general I C T actors being the most integrated. Institutional and socio-economic actors are the least integrated, with governmental and intergovernmental agencies, non-tourism information services, and development actors being the most integrated within this group.Presence of varying types of actors in the extended destination ecosystem (a) and their integration levels into ecosystem networks (b).
