Data were gathered through three methods: a questionnaire survey of 533 participants for statistical profiling, theme interviews with 71 participants for qualitative analysis, and inspections of representative office buildings for contextual insights. The survey identified individual differences in factors important to remote and on-site work, while interviews explored what makes on-site work more attractive. The inspection provided background context linking employee perspectives to workplace environments.
