The horizontal axis shows months in order from “September” through “December” of the following year. The vertical axis ranges from 0 to 12 in increments of 2 units. A single line connects the monthly data points to show changes over time. The line begins at about 5 in “September”, rises slightly in “October” and “November”, and reaches a first peak of about 10 in “December”. The line then drops through “January” and “February” to around 6 and 5, increases to about 8 in “April”, dips again near 5 in “May”, and then rises sharply to the highest peak of approximately 11 in “July”. After “July”, the number falls back to around 5 in “August” and “September”, increases modestly to about 7 in “October”, drops to around 4 in “November”, and ends with a small rise to about 6 in “December”.
