SETTING: Suburban southeastern middle school “Bullying is something that makes it hard for us to learn and to be successful. When people are mad at me, I can’t focus and think in my classroom. I can’t learn because I am worried about what is happening and why that person is mad at me. I worry about if I am going to get beat up, or if my friends will stop talking to me. I can’t concentrate, and I end up not doing good in class.”
