The first row compares raw and adjusted tenth percentiles of precipitation from observed data and climate models including A C C E S S C M 2, A C C E S S E S M 1.5, E C Earth 3, H a d G E M 3 G C 3 1 L, M I R O C E S 2 L, and M P I E S M 1.2 H R. The Linear Scaling adjustment smooths the data and aligns models closer to observations. The second row presents raw and adjusted ninetieth percentiles, showing improved consistency among models and reduced extreme precipitation variations after correction.
