The earthquake impact map highlights dots representing the hospitals included in this study, with dot size corresponding to population density in each town Refer to the image caption for details. The map displays parts of Idleb and Aleppo governorates with nearby Turkey. Shaded areas indicate earthquake magnitude levels labelled very strong, strong, and moderate. Multiple health facility icons are marked across locations such as Afrin, Atmeh, Dana, Atareb, Idleb, Armanaz, Salqin, Harim, Azmarin, Darkosh, and Aqrabat. Most northern and central areas show stronger intensity, while southern areas show moderate intensity. A legend identifies health facilities and earthquake magnitude categories, and an inset map highlights the regional location within Syria.

Note(s): While other facilities may have been closer to the impact zone, many were damaged or suspended, limiting their functionality. As a result, most patient referrals were directed to Idlib in the south, which experienced relatively less impact.
