Three vertical arrangements are placed side by side. Each arrangement includes a funnel positioned above a tall cylindrical tube with two dark bands near the top. In the left arrangement, the funnel contains numerous small spherical particles, and the tube below is empty. In the centre arrangement, fewer particles remain inside the funnel, and the tube below remains empty. In the right arrangement, particles exit the funnel outlet and fall into the tube.
