Records identified from databases, Web of Science, and Scopus, total 1,788, with an additional 17 records identified through reference checking, resulting in 1,805 total documents. After removing 1,135 duplicates, 670 records were screened by title and abstract. Of these, 313 records were excluded, leaving 357 reports sought for retrieval. A total of 126 reports were not retrieved because full texts could not be obtained. Subsequently, 231 reports were assessed for eligibility, and 129 reports were excluded because they were not focused on South Asia. The final stage shows 102 studies included in the review.
