The table shows self-reported photos, E S M, to be analysed in the Q P A-H W model. The table contains sections labelled Denotation-sender, Denotation-message and context, Denotation-receiver, Connotation-sender, Connotation-sender and code, Connotation-receiver, and Additional questions. The Denotation-sender section states that the photographer is the identified occupant and that time and location information is known if consent for tracking is given. The Denotation-message and context section explains that self-reported photos by the occupant, including views when raising one’s gaze from the screen and towards the window-view if available, are combined with answers to a maximum of 5 to 7 multiple-choice questions concerning the location of the place, the job task at hand, job task-place fit, and opinion of the place. The Denotation-receiver section describes M V analysis and percentages of Nature elements, Static and or Dynamic elements detected from the image, including categorisation based on combinations of visual elements. The Connotation-sender section states that, in hybrid work, participants may choose their workstation or work location and that image content may communicate preferences for the selected place. The Connotation-sender and code section explains that answers regarding job task-place fit and opinion of the place relate to previous experiences, while the location of the place and the job task at hand provide additional baseline information to researchers. The Connotation-receiver section states that the photographs are preliminarily quantified according to set principles based on the M V analysis and categorisation. The Additional questions section asks what the photograph story communicates about demands or resources experienced during hybrid working and includes a note stating that combining time-location datasets with image information provides a more comprehensive understanding of location impacts on the occupant. The table follows the structuring of denotation-connotation-additional questions as the original press photograph story analysis (PPSA) by Kedra (2013), but the themes were modified to fit the topic of hybrid work (QPA-HW model). The table structuring is by Kedra (2013), but the content is modified by the authors
