It begins with Phase 1: Research Development, which involves reviewing relevant literature, identifying research gaps, and formulating research questions. This phase leads to Phase 2: Data Collection, where semi-structured interview questions are developed, interviews are conducted with food supply chain stakeholders, and audio recordings and notes are taken. Phase 2 transitions into Phase 3: Data Analysis, where the researcher performs open coding, integration coding, constant comparison, NVivo-supported analysis, and generates low-level themes. Following this, Phase 4: Focus Group Workshop involves practitioner-led sensemaking, clustering low-level themes, discussing interrelationships, and validating and refining core themes.
