Initially, 14675 records were identified from four databases: MEDLINE ALL (4510), EMBASE (4630), Web of Science Core Collection (1869), and Scopus (3666). After removing duplicates, 8491 records remained for screening. Of these, 8313 were excluded for reasons such as irrelevance to victim transport, military or combat focus, hospital-to-hospital studies, reviews, or other criteria like scale, event, or language. The remaining 178 full-text articles were assessed for eligibility, with 51 excluded due to access issues, non-English language, hospital-based context, or irrelevance. Ultimately, 127 studies were included in the content analysis, demonstrating a structured filtering process for relevant literature.
