FigureĀ 1
A flowchart illustrating a convergent parallel mixed-methods design process for identifying and analyzing participants in the Australian F&T industry. The flowchart begins with a convergent parallel mixed-methods design that combines qualitative (QUAL) and quantitative (quan) methods. Participants are identified through LinkedIn, email, and professional networks, focusing on F&T professionals operating in Australia. The process splits into two pathways: the Survey Pathway (Quantitative) and the Interview Pathway (Qualitative). In the Survey Pathway, 182 participants are approached, 105 respond, and 97 provide valid responses. Inclusion criteria for this pathway are age 18+, decision-making roles in the Australian F&T industry, and supply chain stakeholder status. Data collection involves a Qualtrics survey with closed-ended and open-ended questions, taking approximately 25 minutes per participant. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics and thematic analysis with tools like Qualtrics and MS Excel. In the Interview Pathway, 43 participants are identified, approached, and 14 participate.
