The flowchart illustrates the entropic intellectual capital model. It starts with a shared vision, which is the driving force of the model. Then, there is the potential intellectual capital, which includes the full stock of the cognitive, emotional, and spiritual knowledge embedded within the firm. Integrators - powerful fields of forces that combine and convert different forms of knowledge into new, actionable ones - include technology, processes, leadership, management, and organizational culture. Integrators transform potential intellectual capital in operational intellectual capital, which is the actual level of usable intellectual capital embedded in the human, structural, and relational intellectual capital. The model progresses to dynamic capabilities, which involve sensing, seizing, and reconfiguring capabilities through which the firm's potential intellectual capital is renewed through innovation and learning processes. Within this model, competitive advantage emerges from the combined work of integrators and dynamic capabilities in regenerating potential IC.The study’s analytical framework.
