The framework divides leadership into two phases: leadership situation and leadership enactment. It begins with environmental cues that influence sensing and perceiving, followed by recognition and regulation, both forming part of embodied leadership. These processes lead to leaderful behaviour, which fosters collective effort and culminates in purposeful change. The model shows a feedback loop connecting purposeful change back to environmental cues, emphasising the cyclical and adaptive nature of leadership development.
