The flowchart illustrates the process of developing a taxonomy for CE terminologies. It starts with a literature review to identify various CE terminologies. This leads to individualizing comparison, where generic definitions from academic dictionaries and definitions in the CE context are identified. Consolidated definitions for CE terminologies are then derived. The next step involves identifying a hierarchical order for selected CE terminologies. This is followed by the development of a conceptual CE taxonomy. The taxonomy is validated through an expert survey, resulting in a validated taxonomy for CE terminologies. Decision points include checking ISO standards, industry guides and reports, and CE-related literature. If yes, proceed to the next step.
