A framework outlines three ways universities can address social inequality through teaching, student diversity and public policy engagement.The framework has three sections. Research and teaching content includes relevance to social enterprise and government service delivery. Increasing the diversity of the student population to reduce inequality includes supporting disadvantaged groups, promoting lifelong learning initiatives and recognising prior learning. Contributions to public policy debates include active engagement with government and engagement with policy makers.
