The right photo shows a well-organized shelving system filled with sorted metal beams and profiles at a used-metal retailer. The shelves are neatly arranged with different types of metal materials, and the area appears clean and orderly.Notably, certain types of material were encountered across both reuse retailers and recycling plants. Metal beams and profiles, for instance, could be found lying in unsorted piles at the metal recycling plant Galloo in Zeveneke, north of Bruges (left), yet also appeared carefully sorted on shelving at the used-metal retailer Bart in Aalst (right).
