A six-stage thematic analysis process moves from data familiarisation and coding through theme development, review, naming, and final interpretation.Data Familiarization involves reading and re-reading interview transcripts to understand patterns and meanings. Coding generates initial codes and identifies recurring patterns across interviews. Initial Themes groups similar codes to form preliminary themes. Reviewing Themes refines themes by merging, splitting or removing inconsistencies. Defining and Naming Themes finalises and labels themes representing key supplier selection factors. Write-up and Interpretation integrates findings and links themes with existing literature.
