I disclosed everything.

Transparency was the rule.

But I disclosed EVERYTHING,

except what mattered,

and what made me whole.

Worldly evidence was scattered

in browser histories and carefully cleared cache;

in unfilled dreams and non-compliant prayers.

Emotions failed the substance test.

They tested ethics,

that heart approved but mind disclaimed;

they reviewed goodwill

with weakening waned.

Regrets reclassified as deferred assets,

the useful life beyond work, uncertain;

Your disclosures are not sufficient, said they.

The human almost whispered:

your understanding may be incomplete;

some truths don’t reconcile that way

For a moment, the eyes met,

The system crashed

The forces of love and logic

Unable to settle

In the audit of humanity.

The AI wasn’t intelligent

To spot exceptions.

It never was.

The auditors with the algorithm

continued to live

under mutual suspicion.

The blinkers of match

Debits, credits, assets, liabilities

Were too perfect to accept.

Somewhere in the footnotes,

the human accrued interest

on unrecorded dreams.

Found joy hiding

under miscellaneous income,

with patience gently growing

in long-term assets.

The algorithms checked numbers again,

But blinked, uncertain this time;

they had a learning, at last

what books could never teach.

Some things cannot ever balance

Because they go far beyond worldly reach.

Love always appreciates,

and kindness compounds.

Hope still goes far in value,

when darkness rebounds

For once, the System smiled,

with balance sheets at peace.

It let the records show

being human still had its lease.

Despite profit none, nor loss,

the heart levies equilibrium

behind all the gloss.

The ultimate truths remain;

the richest balance sheet

record no unnecessary due.

And in those quiet margins,

the numbers love back too.

The Auditor of the world

was wise enough to see

that the faults were ordinary

And that’s how He knew,

The book was genuine.
