Zinc LAST month we commented at some length on the potentiality of zinc‐rich coatings and their possible future developments. In this issue we have gone a stage further by featuring the hot‐dip galvanizing and the sherardizing processes. We have always been aware of the value of zinc as one of the outstanding anti‐corrosion materials, particularly for the protection of steel, and felt that a review of these two methods of usage would be of interest. Next month we hope to deal with two other processes.
