SAL Abrasives test centre

SAL Abrasives Technologies Group Limited has recently opened its latest purpose-built innovative test centre (Plate 3). Based close to the group's headquarters, the centre provides manufacturers, designers and specifiers with the latest belt grinding machines,air hand tools and abrasive solutions.

SAL encourages customers to bring along components and test them on the grinding, deburring and polishing facilities to establish the most cost effective way of processing their components.

In addition to the new centre SAL have opened a separate Hand Tool Centre in order for customers to test range of portable abrasive handtools. The facility includes Dynabrade tools that have been specifically developed for grinding, deburring, filing, sanding and polishing of metals, wood, plastics, glass, rubber, stone, fibreglass and composites.

Both centres provide an excellent facility for customer training, where trainee operators can experience working with the latest equipment, in an environment that is ideal for this purpose.
