Jergens Inc. has announced its new environmentally-safe coating for its lifting products. The Envirolox^(TM) protective plating reportedly eliminates the potential environmental liabilities of cadmium plating, while claiming superior protection from harsh environments. According to Jergens, the plating offers proven resistance to extreme conditions such as salt spray. The Envirolox plating is available on center pull and side pull style Jergens hoist rings (Plate 3).
