Linings for industrial effluent tanks

Herringtons Industrial Services of Sunderland, UK, that it has just completed a contract for applying a corrosion/erosion resistant lining to industrial effluent tanks. The company, a leading North East shotblasting and painting contractor, reports that in the past it had used several glass reinforced coating systems but now regularly specify Winn Coles Archco-Rigidon 403D lining which it has found to give consistent and reliable results.
In addition to the effluent tanks, Herrington has used Archco-Rigidon 403D for protecting many types of process tanks - both new and refurbished, heat exchanger, filter vessels and also internal surfaces of pipes for a marine vapour recovery process. Work is carried out either on site for the customers or in Herrington's own heated workshops. In most cases shotblasting is carried out to BS 7079:SA 21/2 standard before application of the Winn Coales lining system,
Archco-Rigidon 403D lining is a vinyl ester based flake glass filled coating offering excellent long term corrosion/erosion resistance in highly corrosive environments.
