BASF Coatings has developed Integrated Process II, a novel, highly efficient automotive coating technology in which the specially formulated basecoats combine all the functions of the primer, such as stone chip protection and ultraviolet resistance. This means that the time needed for the coating process is shorter because the primer application section of the paint line and the primer oven are eliminated.
