One of the two tallest structures in Europe, Emley Moor television mast (the other is the Belmont mast) is nearing completion: 1,265 ft. high, it is a galvanized steel cylindrical mast 9 ft. in diameter, which will be used by both ITA and BBC in the northern half of England.
