The trend towards “Press Button” Blasting

The present economic gloom and its overall dampening effect on industry's investment in new plant and equipment, has at least highlighted a trend which was beginning to emerge over the past five years—an increasing demand for automated blasting equipment. The reasons are all too obvious. Firstly the need for many manufacturing organisations, for reasons of costs, to reduce the amount of skilled labour required in certain stages of production. Secondly maintaining their quality standard (or even improving them) and lastly being able to increase output when necessary.
