Cocooning compositions. Strippable sprayed coatings for use in packaging aircraft, engines, etc., for storage or transportation, are discussed. The problem is considered from the viewpoint of modern high‐speed aircraft, e.g. D.H. Vampires, exported by long sea journeys as deck cargo and exposed to sea spray and atmospheric corrosion.
