A thermoplastic welding gun. The enormous increase in the use of thermoplastic materials for construction calls for a device whereby they can be easily modified or repaired. One such instrument is the Griesheim TP welding gun. When in use, a stream of hot air emerges from its nozzle, causing both the edges of the component under repair and the welding rod to soften. The rod is applied to the seam by gentle hand pressure and, once there, the weld is accomplished by the interlocking of the molecule chains in the heated zones.
