Protection of ships' hulls

The performance and the life of a coating depends mainly upon the standard of surface preparation before paint application. The quality of preparation necessary varies with the duty expected of the paint system and the most severe service conditions require the highest levels of cleanliness to be achieved. Ships' hulls are mong the most aggressively exposed surfaces which we attempt to protect from corrosion.
