Rust damage to passenger cars—Swedish report. At the initiative of Bilskadecenter, which is run by the Skandia and Trygg‐Hansa insurance companies, a joint research project was started at the Swedish Corrosion Institute in 1980 in order systematically to chart and analyse the extent and distribution of visible corrosion damage on different parts of cars. Special attention was to be paid to such factors as the significance of the quality of painting.
