A major UK tube manufacturer has just installed a purpose‐designed Vacu‐Blast abrasive blasting machine for cleaning the inside bores of 15–28mm diameter domestic copper tubes. The £200,000 PLC‐controlled machine represents the state‐of‐the‐art in abrasive blasting technology. Vacu‐Blast, based in Slough is part of the BTR group.
