‘COATS OFF TO CORROSION’ For the last five months notices have been appearing in CORROSION TECHNOLOGY informing readers of progress in the preparations for National Anti‐Corrosion Week. Now, in this issue, we include a preview of the Corrosion Exhibition, the final programme for the Corrosion Convention and abstracts of those papers which we have been able to include in time for publication. At the time of writing we confidently expect at least 300 delegates to attend the Convention at Westminster Hall; from overseas alone visitors are expected from Holland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland and the U.S.A. Enquiries for attendance have also been received from Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Sweden and the U.S.S.R. The guests of honour at the Convention Dinner will include Mr. J. Harmar Nicholls, M.P., Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works (who will also open the Exhibition) and Sir Hugh Beaver, present President of the Federation of British Industries.
