Protective coatings based on epoxide resins have by now become well established industrial finishes and it is not therefore necessary to enter into a long and detailed introduction dealing with their chemical structure. What is, however, of importance to the user is the essential nature of the various types of epoxide finishes, with their usefulness and respective merits.
