Outstanding Paint Service Laboratory: NEW PREMISES FOR TECHNICAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT

A new Technical Service Laboratory building has been erected at Slough to provide the Paints Division of I.C.I. with facilities for giving comprehensive technical service to its customers. This service includes advice on painting specifications and techniques of application, demonstrations to customers, and the training of their painting operatives. Practical trials of new products and new techniques are also carried out. Closely linked with the Technical Service Department is the Colour Advisory Department, where specialists advise on the use of colour and prepare colour schemes to suit individual customer's requirements.
