Pipeline Protection Contract. Cathodic Corrosion Control Ltd., in association with Indian Cathodic Protection Co. (Private) Ltd. of Bombay, have been awarded the contract for the pipe‐coating inspection services and the cathodic protection of the 720‐mile crude oil pipeline from Nahorkatiya to Barauni in Northern India. The pipeline was planned to develop oil concessions in Nahorkatiya, Hugrijan and Moran areas of the Brahmaputra Valley in Upper Assam and to transport the crude oil from the wells to refineries which the Government of India plan to establish at Noonmati, near Gauhati, in Assam, and Barauni, in the State of Bihar.
