Prefabricated Laboratory Furniture. Laboratory furniture constructed from zinc‐coated steel, stainless steel, aluminium or plastics‐coated steel is manufactured by Griffin & George Ltd., with a continuous flange offering a finger grip over the full door or drawer width. The drawer tracks can be adjusted by means of a cam in front of the unit and a rubber buffer is incorporated. Adjustable feet for quick levelling with plastic inserts at the base prevents damage to floors; the optional base plinth has ample toe space. The shelves are adjustable at 1½‐in. centres and removable shelf supports hold the back panel in position allowing easy access to the service pipework.
