BRIGHT TRIM RAISED DOUBLE CORROSION TROUBLE

When the solution to one corrosion problem brings up another as well, some careful thinking is needed. This was the case with a complete automatic chemical polishing and anodising plant installed at Wombourn, near Wolverhampton, by Albright & Wilson (Mfg.) Ltd. for the London Aluminium Co. Ltd. The process gives a finish to aluminium automobile trim, involving the use of several types of corrosive chemicals, which meant that a lot of care had to be given to the choice of construction materials for the plant.
