Alocit buys US distributor
Protective coatings specialist Alocit International of Dereham, Norfolk has taken over its American distributor the Warfield Corporation Inc. of Pennsylvania for an undisclosed sum.
Warfield has been distributing Alocit's range of coating sysems for 16 years in North America and in that time has been responsible for their use in some of the most demanding conditions in the world.
From the protection of concrete beams on the bridge crossings in New York to sump linings on the Holland Tunnel under the Hudson River and the bonding of tiles to wet surfaces of the Sumner Tunnel under Boston Harbor Alocit has played a key role for many years providing protection on surfaces which are wet, oily and salt water contaminated.
