Desiccators protect electronic equipment enclosures

Brownell manufacture a range of desiccators for installation into equipment housings to virtually eliminate high humidity and harmful condensation.

There are two types available, one with silica gel which is suitable for general use, and the molecular sieves type for the more demanding applications in optical and laser equipment. They are manufactured in polycarbonate to a high technical specification, making them suitable for extending the operation and reliability of a wide range of equipment.

The desiccators have a capacity to protect the smallest volumes up to 100 litres. Selection is based on the volume of the equipment to be protected and its IP rating, or equivalent specification.

Each desiccator has a saturation indicator, showing when the desiccator needs reactivation or replacement.
